The deadline for locking in half-point byes, if you are requesting NOT to play a future round, is before you start Round 3 (no adding or taking back half-point byes after this).
After Round 3 starts, all requests for half-point byes will be treated as requests for zero-point byes.
Please make all bye requests (either zero or half-point byes) at least one hour before your game.
When your game is over, please confirm the result with your opponent by signing each other's notation sheets.
After you have done this, please also write the result of your game on the yellow pairing sheet in the hall.
If your result is not reported correctly, this may adversely affect your pairings, rating and possible prize.
