The New York State Chess Association is the USCF's oldest State Chess association, helping to promote Chess in the Empire State (NYSCA is a separate organization from the US Chess Federation). You can join NYSCA for $20/year for 4 issues of Empire Chess or $12/year for 2 issues. Continental Chess offers a discount to NYSCA members for a number of the tournaments it runs in New York (if you play in enough of our tournaments in a year, the discounts you receive can add up to more than or most of the cost of the annual membership dues you paid)! You do not need to be a resident of New York State to be a NYSCA member. The NYSCA website is www.nysca.net
